Our Incredible Story
When Santa Fe Painting owner Lorenzo Cadena came as an immigrant to the Kansas City area in the late 1980s, he was starting here with nothing. Sick, not knowing the area, not speaking the language, and not having any resources, he spent his first months homeless, living under bridges on Kansas City’s Southwest Boulevard.
He soon found a job with a painting crew, and within just a few short years, Lorenzo began his own company, Santa Fe Painting. His is a true success story of hard work, perseverance, and following his dreams.
Lorenzo has made it a priority to give back to the community that he has been a part of for so long. Santa Fe Painting is a family-owned, family-run business that invests in the community by funding an inner city soccer club, giving young men and women opportunities that they would not have anywhere else. His dream is to leave a true legacy through the business that influences this community for generations to come.
